OKLAHOMA EMS COALITION

The mission of the Oklahoma EMS Coalition is to improve, with a unified voice, the availability, delivery, and quality of Oklahoma emergency medical services.  This Coalition will inform, educate, and advise elected officials, community leaders, and EMS stakeholders on related legislation and other issues of concerns.

What We Do:

• The Home page will show you our mission statement and a schedule of meetings.
• About Us will show you our voting and advisory board members. There are links to the organization websites and e-mail links to the representatives.
• Meeting Information has links for directions, agendas, and meeting minutes
• Legislation will show you current bills and the link will take you to the bill. There is also a bill summary on this page so you don't have to dig through it if you don't have time! There is also a link to assist you in finding your state legislators. We hope you will use this feature to call, e mail, and snail mail your legislators. As we progress we hope to post our position on pending legislation.
• Other Information is a list of meetings in the state.
• Important Links will allow you to access other websites.

We are supporting EMSC in the Medic of the Day for EMS Week May 19-23, 2008.

Meeting Information:

The next meeting is May 21,  Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at EMSA OKC, 1111 Classen.We will meet at the capital in the morning first for EMS Week. Please attend if you can.

All meetings are open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
